In the hadeeth of Taawriq al-Muhaaribee collected by Ibn Abee Shaybah in his musannaf and was authenticated by Shaykh Muqbil ibn Haadee al-Waada'ee, the Prophet (sulAllaahu alaihi wa salaam) said:

Shajaratul Eemaan was established with the purpose of increasing the number of knowledge-based resources available in the Center-Northern NewYork-New Jersey region which promote and uphold the values of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah. With Allah's Permission, we intend to consistently host a series of lectures, classes, seminars, and telelinks with the Scholars of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah and the Du'aat in the West as a means of upholding at-Tawheed and the Methodology of the Salaf. Shajaratul Eemaan's long-term goal is to establish a fully operating Islamic Institute in the West.
